Jamaican singers Vanessa Bling and D’Yani are giving lovebirds a sexy collab ahead of Valentine’s Day ribboned Soul Tied.

The Damage Musiq production sees the crooners doting over each other in harmony and “best I’ve ever had” declarations.

Though it’s officially slated for release on February 10 through distribution outfit ONErpm, the teaser is already exciting fans across social media.

“My phone is blowing up, my DMs are full and I’m receiving so much love,” Bling told DancehallMag. “It’s definitely a hit song.”

D’Yani, whose repertoire boasts beloved collabs like the Jada Kingdom-featured Feelings, is echoing her sentiments in Instagram comme

The pairing is head-turning enough as it’s not often that singers collaborate in Dancehall, and Bling’s collab catalog has primarily seen her working with deejays.

“D’Yani has a unique and special voice which everyone loves, and seeing that everyone loves me, it was a no-brainer (for us to collab),” she said. “Soul Tied was inspired by the magic of music between D’Yani and I. Damage Musiq sent the beat as I walked in the studio, and  everything just came together instantly.”

Damage, whose given name is Dwayne Parkinson, is no stranger to working with some of the most talented and biggest names in the business. His label is behind bangers like Teejay’s Rags to Riches and Baller, Tommy Lee Sparta’s Blessings and Chronic Law’s Bless Me. Speaking about his latest project, Damage expressed joy to have curated what he is predicting will be a “mega hit”.

“It was an amazing experience to have two outstanding vocalists deliver such a sensual vibe,” Damage told DancehallMag. “ I feel this song is a mega hit. A vibe like this is missing from the dancehall scene right now; it’s exceptional.”

The icing on the cake will be a music video which Bling said is already in demand.

Besides Soul Tied, the singer said fans can look forward to “more great music and videos from Vanessa Bling” throughout 2023.
